Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
We want you to love your Summit Strong gear. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
Return Window & Fees
- Free returns within 15 days of delivery.
- After 15 days (up to 30): Returns remain eligible, subject to an $8 restocking fee.
- One free return per order (one prepaid label per order; additional returns from the same order may be at the customer’s expense).
- YT / NT / NU: return/exchange postage is the customer’s responsibility.
Return Label Validity
- Prepaid return labels are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
- If the label is not used within this period, it will be voided and the return request will be closed.
- To remain eligible, customers must request a new return within the original 30-day return window (subject to applicable restocking fees).
Eligibility & Condition
To be eligible, items must be:
- Unused and in original condition.
- In original packaging, including the retail box, cleaning cloth, and pouch.
- Returned with the packing slip (or a note with your order number if you no longer have it).
Condition matters:
- Missing/damaged components (box, pouch, cloth, lenses) may result in a partial refund or no refund.
- Improper returns (e.g., worn or dirty items, scratched lenses, inadequate packaging causing damage, excessive pet hair/odour, stickers/labels applied to the retail box) may incur additional restocking fees or be denied.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Email Contact@SummitStrong.ca with your order number and the reason for the return/exchange.
- If approved, we’ll email you a prepaid return label and instructions.
- Items sent back without prior authorization may be rejected and returned to sender.
How to Pack Your Return
- Reuse the black mailer your order arrived in when possible; otherwise use sturdy, protective packaging.
- Place the product inside the retail box and protect it from crushing or bending.
- Include the packing slip (or a note with your order #).
Exchanges
If you’d like a different model or color, let us know in your email. We’ll confirm availability and either:
- Ship your exchange after we receive and inspect the original item, or
- Issue a refund so you can place a new order (often fastest when inventory is moving quickly).
Damages & Delivery Issues (Arrival Problems)
- Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us right away if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
- If you purchased Delivery Protection at checkout, we’ll help file a claim for loss or damage in transit (not theft after confirmed delivery). Please provide clear photos of the damaged item(s) and outer packaging.
- If you didn’t purchase Delivery Protection, we’ll still assist, but coverage for carrier loss/damage isn’t included and resolution may involve working with the carrier directly.

Refunds
- We’ll notify you when your return is received and inspected. If approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.
- If it’s been more than 15 business days since your refund approval email, contact us at Contact@SummitStrong.ca.
Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
- Items returned used, damaged, or missing components beyond what’s reasonably needed to inspect fit/feel.
- Any item sent back without prior authorization.
- Gift cards.
Force Majeure
Summit Strong is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or inability to process returns or refunds caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
These events include (but are not limited to) postal strikes, carrier disruptions, natural disasters, severe weather, or government restrictions.
In such cases, return and refund timelines may be temporarily suspended until normal service resumes.
Your eligibility will still be honoured if your return request was submitted within the required return window.
Canada Post Strike
- If Canada Post is experiencing a strike or service disruption, we will place all refunds on hold until postal service resumes.
- To remain eligible, you must email us at Contact@SummitStrong.ca within the 15-day free return window, even if you cannot ship your item back right away.
- Once service resumes, you will have 15 days to ship your return using the label we provide.
- Your return will still be honoured, provided the initial request was submitted within the 15-day window.
Warranty
