Shipping Policy (Summit Strong)

Thanks for choosing Summit Strong. We aim to process and ship orders quickly and keep you informed at every step. Below you’ll find how shipping works, what to expect for timelines, and details on our optional Delivery Protection for loss or damage in transit.

Where We Ship & Rates

Canada

  • Free Standard Shipping on orders of CAD $45+ (calculated after discounts, before taxes and shipping).
  • Orders under CAD $45: Standard rate shown at checkout.
  • Remote-area and PO Box exceptions below.

Exceptions

  • YT / NT / NU: Free shipping does not apply; postage is calculated at checkout. Customers in these regions cover return postage for returns/exchanges.
  • PO Boxes: Free shipping does not apply. A flat “PO Box Delivery” rate will be shown at checkout.
  • Wholesale / bulk orders: Please contact Wholesale@summitstrong.ca.

Order Processing Time

Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days. During peak periods (holidays, severe weather, supply chain issues), processing may take longer. You’ll receive an email when your order ships.

Carriers, Timelines & Tracking

Delivery timelines are set by the carrier and may be affected by factors outside our control. For orders with free shipping, we may select the carrier. If tracking is available, we’ll share it so you can follow your package’s progress.

Interaction with Returns/Exchanges

  • If a return causes your original order value to fall below CAD $45, we may deduct our standard shipping fee from the refund.
  • Approved exchanges and warranty replacements ship free within Canada (same service level as your original order).

Pre-Orders & Split Shipments

Pre-ordered items ship once available. We may combine or split shipments at our discretion to get items to you quickly.

Delivery Protection (Loss & Damage)

What it is

An optional add-on at checkout that covers loss or damage in transit. Coverage is provided through our shipping partner’s protection program.

What’s covered

  • Loss eligibility (no movement after last scan):
    • Canada/USA: after 14 days
    • International: after 21 days
  • Damage claims require clear photos of:
    • the damaged item(s) (separate from packaging)

What’s not covered (key exclusions)

  • Theft after delivery or any order showing a carrier “Delivered” scan (rare exceptions only where the carrier cannot confirm delivery).
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
  • Damage only to the external packaging; unclaimed parcels held by customs.

How to file a claim (if you purchased Delivery Protection)

  1. Contact us with your order number and photos (for damage) as soon as you notice an issue.
  2. We’ll file the claim with the protection provider. Loss claims follow the timelines above (14 or 21 days since last scan).
  3. Provide documents within 30 days of the claim being filed. The provider requires a commercial invoice showing customer name/address, order ID, item descriptions, and supply date.
  4. All claims must be filed within 1 year of the ship date.
  5. Once approved, we’ll arrange your refund or replacement. Provider approvals are typically credited to our account within up to 7 business days; we process your resolution immediately after.

Didn’t purchase Delivery Protection?

We’ll still do our best to help, but loss/damage coverage isn’t included. You may need to work directly with the carrier.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or being unclaimed, reshipment costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can’t be responsible for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Force Majeure

We aren’t liable for delays caused by events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, public-health emergencies).

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Once processing or shipping begins, changes may no longer be possible.
